True Worship

Hey Everyone, Just wanted to share something from my personal notes. The Lord inspired me to write this along time ago but I was drawn back to it recently and I believe it will bless you. Please feel free to leave a comment or email me.

"Hosanna; blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord" (Mark 11.9), "hosanna in the highest" (Mark 11.10); "hosanna to the Son of David" (Matt 21:9), "help" or "save, I pray" (Psalm 118:25).Mark 11:8-11 MSG

Matthew 21:19And as He saw one single leafy fig tree above the roadside, He went to it but He found nothing but leaves on it seeing that in the fig tree the fruit appears at the same time as the leaves. And He said to it, Never again shall fruit grow on you! And the fig tree withered up at once.

True Worship

How often we declare our faith in God. Standing firm in appearance to others in our belief and faith that we believe in Christ and strive to be like Him. When He speaks do we listen? Do we do what He says as hard as it may seem at the time. Where is the fruit that shows what we really are, who we really are? How does anyone recognize that we belong to him? That we are who we say we are?
Hosanna meaning pray; save, came to me a few weeks ago and I was not at first sure of its meaning and determined to look it up but never did. I just simply called out to God saying “Hosanna God, Hallelujah!” I wanted to praise God as highly as I could.  I believe that God speaks to me through His Word daily and sometimes it just seems so usual and minute that we don’t always recognize that it is a Word from the Lord. That He is telling us to do something. I hadn’t been praying like I should or had been just a few weeks ago. I know now that I have looked up the meaning of “Hosanna” that God was telling me to pray and ask to be saved. I believe saved from whatever the enemy was about to throw at me and what would be coming my way. Sometimes we think the Lord is being silent and He’s NOT AT ALL.

Thank you Lord, that you show us Your Love and Your Mercy and Power that we would know what to do in the day of, the face of adversity (danger and hardship).
If we won’t even do in private the things that God is calling us to do, how then in the world, do we think we will have strength and wisdom and poise (discipline , strength of mind )or anointing to walk into and uphold God in public. We need to become strong in the Lord in the secret place Psalm 91 so that we may boldly declare His Majesty to  the masses. That we may prove God through the life we live IN Christ. How do we do this… through studying His Word 2Timothy 2:15, staying constant in Prayer Luke 21:34-36 and 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 , always lifting Him up in Praise worshipping at His throne.
In doing so the fruit  of the Sprit of God will show in our lives, will be evident to all who meet us and the enemy will know that we belong to Almighty God.

Let’s not be like the fig tree that Jesus cursed, only having the appearance of fruitfulness, the appearance of holiness. It comes in all forms, from niceties and good deeds to beauty and even seemingly profound philosophies.
Instead let us glorify God through the way we live in Spirit and Truth. Worshipping Him with our tongues and also the way we live our lives.

We don’t want God to let us wither and die because we choose to remain unfruitful, unfaithful, putting on a show for people so that they will think we are holy and righteous but get behind closed doors (in private, in secret) and plan to do things that are not pleasing to God; glorifying no one but ourselves, harboring unforgiveness and hatred in our hearts, only thinking of ourselves, entangling ourselves in webs of gossip, lies and strife (controversy, inconsistency, contradiction).

So Hosanna! Pray! Glorify God! Psalm 118:20 says “this is the gate of the Lord through which the righteous may enter”

Amen
